E-mail Helpdesk
Send e-mail to help@phys.REMOVE THISunsw.edu.au
This is the preferred method of contact for reporting faults or
requesting assistance with School computing matters. You
will receive an automated response confirming that you have been
placed in the Helpdesk request queue. If reporting a fault, include
in your request e-mail a clear description of the fault and the events
leading up to it.
Room W106B
This is the least desired method of contact and should be avoided.
The two staff members who comprise general Computing support for the School
are frequently absent from the room when assisting people who have logged jobs
through the Helpdesk request system. When present in the room the staff
are normally occupied with system planning or management duties and appreciate
a low number of interruptions.
